The International Riesling Foundation (IRF) is a not-for-profit trade association designed to promote Riesling as the globe's most noble white wine based on its versatility, quality, food-friendliness, and reflection of terroir. The IRF designed a “Riesling Flavor Profile” scale to help customers predict the specific style of a bottle of Riesling, from Dry to Lovely, and the Flavor Profile is now on more than 30 million bottles of Riesling in the U.S. market.
